Support groups are held for caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s Disease or other dementia and other memory related diseases. These groups provide vital links to other caregivers and an opportunity to learn more about Alzheimer's disease and ways to cope with the disease’s progression. Joining a group of other caregivers can be one of the most rewarding things a caregiver will ever do. Attendees receive encouragement, the latest research information, and helpful suggestions for caring for their loved one with Alzheimer's disease or other memory related diseases.

Current group meetings are:

Fayette County – meets the 2^nd Tuesday of every month at 2:00 p.m.

Tuscaloosa County – meets the 2^nd Tuesday of every month at 2:00 p.m.
