Caregivers Day Out is an annual event for caregivers enrolled in the Alabama Cares Program. It is a day of “R&R” for the clients. This event was created to honor the caregivers who sacrifice their time, energy, and finances daily for their loved ones. Educational speakers present on the latest caregiver topics and motivational speakers remind attendees of the value of what they do. Caregivers meet and visit with other caregivers who are going through some of the same experiences they are.

This event is a great “stress relief” for caregivers.
